Before you come
Three rules, and the reason for each
They are not formalities: they protect a litter whose immune system is not yet fully developed.

By appointment only
We don't receive visitors without notice. We set a day and time just for you, one family at a time: that way we have time to answer all your questions, and the dogs aren't disturbed all day long.

Puppies can be seen from 30 days, but not touched
Before 30 days the mother must be left in peace. After that you can come and see the puppies, but not touch them: until they are vaccinated, their only protection comes from their mother's milk, and a stranger's hands are the easiest way to bring something in.

No other kennels in the previous 24 hours
We ask you not to have visited other breeders, dog pounds, rescue centres or dog shows in the 24 hours before your visit, and to arrive in clean shoes and clothes. It is basic biosecurity: parvovirus and distemper travel on the soles of your shoes.

Comabbio, between Lake Monate and Lake Varese
We're a little off the beaten track but easy to reach: the nearest motorway exit is Sesto Calende–Vergiate, about ten minutes away.
From Switzerland and Ticino
~25 / 30 minutesCross the border at Chiasso or Gaggiolo, then take the A8 "dei Laghi" motorway towards Sesto Calende. For puppies leaving Italy we prepare the microchip, the EU pet passport and the FSVO declaration which, under 12 weeks of age, replaces the rabies vaccination.

From Malpensa airport
~15 minutesSS336 towards Vergiate, then Comabbio. This is why we often welcome families who come for the day from abroad or from central and southern Italy.
From Milan and Brianza
~45 minutesA8 "dei Laghi" motorway towards Varese/Sesto Calende, then the A26 branch and the Sesto Calende–Vergiate exit. From there follow signs for Ternate and Comabbio: another ten minutes on the provincial road.
From Varese and Como
~25 / 40 minutesFrom Varese, take the SS629 down towards Besozzo and Travedona-Monate, or the A8 as far as Vergiate. From Como, the best route is the A9 to Lainate and then the A8 towards the lakes.
From Piedmont
~40 / 60 minutesFrom Novara, the A26 towards Gravellona Toce, exit Sesto Calende–Vergiate. From Gravellona Toce and the Verbano area, the same A26 heading south, same exit.

- Where exactly is the Soeli kennel?
- The kennel is at Via per Ternate 32, 21020 Comabbio, in the province of Varese, between Lake Monate and Lake Varese. The nearest motorway exit is Sesto Calende–Vergiate on the A26, about ten minutes away. Milan Malpensa airport is a quarter of an hour away.
- How do I book a visit to the kennel?
- The quickest way is WhatsApp on +39 340 760 2042, or the form on this page. We agree a day and time together: we receive one family at a time, every day of the week, weekends included. Puppies can be visited from 30 days of age: you can look at them, but not touch them until they are vaccinated.
- When do you answer the phone?
- We answer the phone and WhatsApp every day from 9:00 to 20:00. If we don't answer straight away, it means we're with the dogs or with another family: leave a message and we'll get back to you the same day. From abroad, a written message works better than a call: Enrico replies in English with the help of a translator.
- Can we bring children or our own dog to the visit?
- Children are very welcome; in fact it helps us to see how they behave with the puppies, and vice versa. We do ask you not to bring your own dog, for biosecurity reasons, as the litter is not yet fully vaccinated.
